Early morning happiness 😍😍
I had been wanting to try this one for so long ... And I'm glad I did...😊It's got a beautiful texture, spongy and very moist.. Definitely give a try. I have added wheat flour to make it healthier.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup All Purpose flour
- 3/4 cup Wheat Flour
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- 1.5 cup water approximate
Garnish:
Chocolate syrup, maple syrup, blueberries, or other berries, to serve.
Procedure:
Pour the milk into a large bowl and add the eggs, vanilla, sugar and beat together until fluffy. Combine the flour, wheat flour, baking powder, baking powder and salt and pass it thru sieve into the wet ingredients.
Thoroughly whisk together and making sure there are no lumps to form a smooth lump free batter. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes.
The batter consistency should be of pancake. Heat the waffle iron according to instructions (some need to be lightly oiled before you start).
Pour in big ladle of the batter on one side of your heated waffle iron, close and cook for 1.5 minute, then turn the waffle iron over and cook on the other side for 2 minutes. If you are not sure of waffles being burnt, gentle open the iron and check. If you’re using an electric waffle iron, you will obviously not be turning it over to cook the other side, so you may need to cook for a minute or so longer. Just follow the instructions that come with the iron cast in all cases.
Ease the cooked waffle out of the waffle iron cast.
Waffles should be eaten as soon as it comes out of the iron. Generously pour maple / chocolate syrup over your waffle, ice cream and tumble a few berries alongside if wished.
WAFFLE GADGET:
If you’re like me with constraints in kitchen space and not much into complicated kitchen devices, then you’ll start looking for a kitchen appliance that will make it easy to do that.
I'm no expert when it comes to waffles, but one thing that comes to mind is that a manual waffle iron may need to be flipped to deliver heat to both sides, whereas the waffle maker that is electric one, delivers more even heating by having hot plates on both sides.
When it comes to waffle maker vs. waffle iron, don’t rush to make a purchase before identifying the features that make then unique. I recently purchase a Waffle iron from Home Centre during their sale and it was very cheap.
WAFFLE MAKER FEATURES
Waffle maker – If you’re an experienced cook, you can quickly and efficiently used these products to cook delicious waffles. You might benefit from choosing a product with more features rather than less.
Temperature controls is a great feature when it comes to making waffles, right? An electronic waffle maker will have a timer or even a temperature gauge and may even alert you when it’s ready.
Waffle iron – If you’re a beginner like me, try to find a product that’s simpler to use and that doesn’t have a lot of features. It’ll be easier to cook delicious waffles without all the other features getting in the way.
Temperature controls may
be the greatest weakness of a cast iron waffle iron. Although it is guaranteed
to conduct heat evenly, it’s easy to overcook it.
Still, there are people like me who love their cast iron skillets and therefore may LOVE a cast iron waffle iron. Also, if you go camping or spend time outdoors using a fire pit, you’ll love a cast iron waffle maker.
CONCLUSION:
In my opinion, there’s nothing like a multi-functional, electric waffle maker to make your life easy. A good quality waffle maker that cooks waffles, pancakes, eggs, sandwiches, or any other food you can dream up is an Easy Kitchen Appliance that will always have a spot on my kitchen counter.MANGO SALSA
