OREO BANANA FRAPPUCCINO


What is this Frappuccino? Well Frappuccino is a trademarked brand of the Starbucks Corporation. Originated in America. Frappuccino is usually a blend of coffee or crème base, with other various ingredients. As it’s branded so it is expensive.  Now you can make your own Starbucks style shakes with a healthy twist.

Well I have come up with my own version of healthy Frappuccino recipe that can be prepared in a jiffy and it is not Starbucks proprietary recipe. It's like an icy coco milkshake, flavored with banana and some cookie pieces to munch on.

Now coming on to my recipe….

Ingredients:

  • 1 ltr cold full cream Milk
  • 2 – 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1 tablespoons coco powder
  • 1 ripe  Banana
  • 2 teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • 4 pieces of Oreo biscuit
For garnish:
  • Crushed Oreos
  • Choco Wafers
  • Marshmallows
  • Scopes of vanilla ice-cream

Procedure: 


In a blender add cold milk, Oreo biscuits, chopped Banana, Coco powder, Sugar and Vanilla ice cream. Blend until smooth until thick forth appears on the top.  


You can add in ice, more milk, or more coco powder concentrate depending on what it needs and what consistency you want. I like light flavour and also want to feel the flavour of banana, so I’m just gonna go for it.

Blend it, taste it, add more, blend it taste it…until it’s perfect.

Pour into a glass and get very excited with your presentation skills.  Garnish with ice-cream, Oreo cookies and Wafers and marshmallow. 

Now right there is your Frappuccino. Eat it with a spoon, sip it with a straw….
