Not only are they delicious, they’re downright beautiful, too. If you want these stunning
desserts, I have the recipes you need. When you need to ward off the busy
weekdays and still want to have hearty breakfast or snack, a delicious M&M’s
pancake recipe will do just that!
M&M's are colorful button-shaped chocolates, with the letter
"m" printed on it. I remember having it right from my childhood and
now I am relishing it along my kids. Have you ever wondered why it is called M&M?
M&M represents the names of company co-founders Forrest Mars and William
Murrie.
A bag of my favorite M&M's can go a
long way and can create an array of mouthwatering desserts, add it to the soft
cookies, brownies and even sinful creamy ice cream. Just keep experimenting in
all your desserts.
I wanted to treat my kiddies, after their
swimming challenge. They have been on sugar free and restricted oil diet for a
month along with hardcore fitness regime. They never gave up and was very
committed to the challenge. As a proud parent, now it’s time to celebrate their
success and treat them well with some homemade goodies, so today I have made
these yummy looking Oats pancakes, topped up with some M&M’s and further schmeared
with chocolate paste and some fresh cherries.
A stunning center piece, that is perfect
for any special occasion - from birthdays to New year parties and it is easy
enough to make any time. Forget
the kids, even the elders will love it.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Oats powdered
- 3tbsp Sugar
- 2 pinch Baking Powder
- 1 pinch Salt (to balance the sugar and enhance the flavor in the pancake).
- 1 tbsp Melted Butter
- One Egg
- Few drops of Vanilla Extract Milk
- 1 pkt of M&Ms
- 2 tbsp chocolate paste
- Cherries for garnish
- Butter to fry
Procedure:
Mix flour, oats,
sugar, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl.
Whisk milk, egg,
melted butter and the vanilla extract until combined and fluffy. The liquid
needs to be airyated.
Pour the wet
mixture into the dry mixture, in portions with continuous folding with a fork, to
avoid lumps. Little bits of tiny lumps if remains will be fine, but over
mixing is the common mistake.
Baking powder and egg is added to make pancake fluffy. Over-mixing pancake batter will make it heavy and flat.

Heat a non-stick
pan over medium heat. Lightly brush the pan with melted butter. Take
a mold and apply butter on the side and place it on the hot pan. Here I have
used cooking flower shape mold.
Use a deep spoon to pour batter onto the mold. When the bubbles start to appear, cover the pan with a lid for few seconds.
When edges look dry lift the pancake with spatula and carefully flip the pancake back to the pan.

Add a small dollop of butter on the pan. Taking off
the pancake with the spatula and push in the M&M’s on the hot pancake and
garnish with fruits & chocolate paste.
Not only are they delicious, they’re downright beautiful, too.
