These "Banana Date Rolls" are naturally so sweet and better than any baked bread recipes. If you are looking for a quick, easy and healthier breakfast option then you should definitely try out this "Banana Date Roll" with just 4 ingredients and ready in 15 minutes. Truly you will love it!


My kids were extremely eager to eat it all even before I could capture them in my frame. Somehow I managed to keep them away for 5 minutes. This is also a perfect recipe for kid’s tiffin and why not serve it as a dessert as well, sprinkle some sugar and drizzle some chocolate!


This Dessert is so simple with NO Artificial sweetener.

So let’s start with this recipe of "Banana Date Rolls" that serves 3 people.

Ingredients:

  • 10 Dates, pitted
  • 2 large ripe Bananas
  • 9 – 10 slices of Brown Bread
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Butter (optional)

Procedure:

Chop the Dates into very fine pieces, instead you may also use Date paste.

Anytime, I would most prefer Brown Bread for this recipe or even Multigrain Bread would be perfect. However, since Brown Bread was out of stock, I opted for plain Sandwich Bread.


Cut off the bread edges. This is an optional step, only if you wish to remove.


Flatten each Bread slice with a help of a roller. Make sure the edges are flattened equally, this will help in making perfect rolls.


Now let’s smash the ripe Bananas. This is a perfect recipe to use the over ripe bananas. Nothing edible should go waste! I will first smash one banana and then i will add in the 2nd banana, add a pinch of salt for enhancing the flavor.



Beat the eggs well, until fluffy.

All our ingredients are ready and now it’s time to assemble them.

Lay out a slice of flatten bread, spread the mashed banana evenly, leaving the edges. Then add in the minced dates and gently roll the bread slice without breaking it.





The same process I am following for the rest of the slices. Make sure that the stuffing is not coming out.  I am ready with all the rolls.

Heat a non-stick pan and it is optional to add butter. Since this recipe I have prepared for my kids and you know kids love butter. If you are calorie conscious then please skip butter.



Pan on low to medium flame. Dip the rolls into the egg batter and place it into the hot pan. Follow the same process for all the rolls. Keep turning until it's golden on all the sides.


Look at how gorgeous golden colors these are. Just keep turning until it's golden around. The stuffing is still intact inside.


Serve it with some fruits in your kid’s tiffin or serve it as a dessert by dusting some icing sugar and if you are a chocolate lover then drizzle some chocolate syrup.

15 minutes and here you are with a stunning breakfast and dessert.
